2019 is 1/4 completed, and my Language Learning Goals for the year continue to change. Despite winding things back for March, I made a radical decision to enrol in University to study Biblical Hebrew… and wasn’t THAT a fun choice! So this is what March Language Learning looked like…

You know, we make these choices, as language learners… and it’s ok. Particularly if we are learning languages for a hobby, who cares if we jump around? Go with your motivation – and at the moment, Hebrew, and a piece of paper that says I have some knowledge in it, is my motivation.
Obviously switching and swapping isn’t great for steady improvement. But having said that, I did a French self-assessment yesterday, and passed the A1 level with only one error. That’s better than previously. I got about half of the A2 questions right, which is a vast improvement on last attempt. Spanish, on the other hand, has stalled completely.
And you? Und Sie? Et toi? En jij? Og þú? En jy? What are your language learning goals for January and 2019? Let me know in the comments below, and join the community over on the #ClearTheList page.
#ClearTheList is a community language learning goal setting activity, run by Lindsay over at Lindsay Does Languages, and Shannon of Eurolinguiste. Every month they review their past month’s work, and set new goals for the new month, and invite us all to join them. It is your chance to set monthly language learning goals and achieve them as part of the community.
