June is upon us, and exams are fast approaching! My language learning goals are looking suspiciously like “ah, quick, cram for this exam!” although honestly… it’s a bit late for that!

I’ve poured an enormous amount of energy into Hebrew over the last months – and you know, it *still* eludes me! After 7 weeks of 15 hours/week or more, I could finally translate the first 7 words of the Bible… “In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.” Seven weeks, for 10 words! Seems a tad inefficient to me 🙁
Nevertheless, it is what it is… and despite it being one of the most unfulfilling language learning experiences I have ever had, I still want to master this language. Although, we have learned only around 350 words this semester, and I am far from knowing even those, so it might take a while!
GOALS FOR JUNE
My exam is half way through this month, so again I am going to be focussing on Hebrew with not much more planned until that is over. However, I do want to pick up on the Spanish once the exam is finished.
BIBLICAL HEBREW
Vocab | Memrise course, 4 x 30 mins/week |
Course | Textbook & Workbook 2 chapters/day revision |
SPANISH
Vocab | Pimsleur x 2/week |

As well, of course, as French and Spanish songs and programs. But until after my exam, I’m not going to do anything else.
