Biblical Hebrew

Biblical Hebrew refers to the form of the Hebrew language used primarily in the texts of the Hebrew Bible (or Old Testament), as well as other ancient Jewish writings.

Biblical Hebrew differs from modern Hebrew in several respects, including vocabulary, grammar, and syntax.

It is the language in which much of the Tanakh (the Hebrew Bible) was originally written.
