B2 Language Level

Upper-Intermediate: According to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), learners at this stage exhibit a solid command of the language.

They can comprehend complex texts on various topics, including technical discussions in their field of interest.

They can interact fluently and spontaneously with native speakers, producing clear, detailed text on a wide range of subjects and offering viewpoints on topical issues.

Most serial language learners and polyglots consider B2 relatively “fluent” in a language, and it is often recommended as the level to aim for if you want to retain your proficiency without constant practice.

Other CEFR levels are A1, A2, B1, C1 and C2.
